J.O.Y. School

Welcome to the Greatest Summer of Your Life!

When you agree to send your child to J.O.Y. School (or, for that matter, if you agree to work there), you've agreed to give your child a summer of fun with a staff of caring, dedicated individuals who want to foster success in all their students. Begun in 1978, J.O.Y. School is a non-profit summer program devoted to preventing special education students from losing the ground they've gained during the school year. Studies have shown that special ed students can experience significant regression during the three months of summer break. At J.O.Y. School, we expose children to a variety of experiences, academic, community and cultural, so that they can continue to develop their minds year round.

Our staff enjoys each other's company both at work and beyond. Here are some pictures to illustrate the point...(sorry the rafting pic is so dark)
